About me
I am a fantasy cartographer from Ireland who has been making maps for about 30 years. I first discovered my love for creating new worlds when I first read the Hobbit and then the Lord of the Rings (and many other fantasy novels). I feel like I’m actually exploring the worlds as I map them.
I was eleven when my dad ordered the 3D construction kit for the Amiga, which promised that I could “build my own world”. While I waited for the software to be delivered (no instant downloads back then kids), I took a page and started mapping the world I would create. So my journey began. Oh, I never built that world in 3D…
In 2019, I began my professional career, offering personal maps for DnD on Patreon and commissioned maps for commercial use:
My Patreon
I make maps on Patreon much like a commissioned map (after the selection process). I take submissions every month and the most popular ideas get made. I work with that patron to make the map they want, normally set in their homebrew DnD world.
Higher tiers get prints of the maps made every month.
Also, everyone gets a dungeon postcard sent to them every 10 patrons that join
